🧊 Learn the advanced or full version of CFOP to get even faster at Speedsolving a Rubik's Cube! (takes a long time though)

Advanced method with a lot of algorithms. Practice → sub-14 seconds guaranteed.

📐 Notation Key

R=very right layer up, r=very right layer + middle layer up, U=top layer left, u=top 2 layers left, U'=top layer right, u=top 2 layers right, R'=very right layer down, r'=very right side+middle layer up, F=side facing you clockwise, f=side facing you + layer behind it clockwise, F'=side facing you counterclockwise, f'=side facing you+layer behind counterclockwise, L=very left side down, l=very left side+middle layer down, L'=very left side up, l' very left side+middle layer up.

Example: R,U =very right side up+top side left

Advanced White Cross

A long time (subjective)
White Cross
GOAL

🎯 What to do:

  1. Yellow center on top, white center on bottom
  2. I am assuming that you know how to create a white cross as you have
  3. For the advanced method you have to practice so that you are able to solve the cross from inspection
  4. Look at the video to see techniques and actions needed to learn this!

White pieces form "petals" around white center—like a cross.

2

Advanced F2L

Subjective
F2L
GOAL

🎯 What to do:

  1. For this step, you want to match the edge pieces with white corner pieces in different ways to create pairs, please watch the video for higher level explanation
  2. Once you have acquired 1 pair, insert it using a specific method, please watch the video for further explanation
  3. Repeat this for all of the white corner pieces until the second layer is solved.
  4. To upgrade to advanced F2L, make sure to watch this video because there is too much information to put on this card!

Each white edge's second color must match its center piece. This is probably the hardest and most time consuming part of a solve. Get this good and your on a roll!

Full OLL

A long time (subjective)
Solved OLL
GOAL

🎯 Instructions:

  1. For this step, you will need to memorise the 57 differnt cases of OLL to achieve full mastery of this step
  2. 57 sounds like a lot but use the learning tools on this website such as the timertrainer etc and 3 or more algs a day will get you to know this step in less than 3 weeks!
  3. Here is a link to the ALG chart! Only look at the algs labeled OLL for this step!

Once you've learnt this step, only 1 last step remains!

4

Full PLL

A long time (subjective)
Solved Cube
GOAL

🎯 Instructions:

  1. Sadly for this step, more algorithms await
  2. For this step you have to learn 21 algorithms for PLL
  3. The good thing is that you should already know between the range of 2-10 of them for beginner CFOP!
  4. Again, if you consistently learn every day with this website's learning tools! you'll be done in no time
  5. Go to the alg chart through this link or the header and find all the algorithms labeled "PLL"

Once you've learnt this step, make sure you consistently practice to make sure you don't forget the algorithms.
but as far as you know, you have learnt the current fastest speedsolving method!
